Instructor-led virtual lab using demonstration video and live discussion. Review pedicure sanitation, client consultation, foot and nail assessment, contraindications requiring referral, safe soaking setup, implements, product order, and the basic pedicure service sequence. Students complete a service-sequence mapping activity and identify safety checkpoints before, during, and after a pedicure.
Requirements
Attend the live online session on time with camera access when possible. Have textbook/notes, manicure kit inventory list, and pedicure procedure worksheet available. Complete the pedicure safety checklist and submit a brief service-sequence outline by the end of the session. Assessment opportunity: participation, safety checkpoint responses, and completed sequence outline.
