Course Description

This 10-hour hybrid-capable course helps adult Spanish-speaking learners at Pre-A1 through early A1 build practical survival English for daily life. Learners practice greetings, spelling, phone numbers, addresses, dates, time, prices, schedules, shopping language, transportation questions, appointments, directions, and requests for community help.

Instruction emphasizes listening, speaking, reading, and short writing tasks through role-play, real-world documents, guided practice, and strategic Spanish-language scaffolding. Pronunciation support addresses English vowels, B/V, final consonants, and clear spelling of personal information.
