Class Overview

Class Description

This final week helps learners bring together the practical Tagalog they have developed throughout the course. Learners practice talking simply about family, work, hobbies, feelings, and social plans while asking and answering beginner-friendly follow-up questions.

The class includes two 2-hour instructor-led meetings on August 27 and September 1, 2026, plus two connected 2-hour independent assignments. Activities include guided pronunciation review, short interviews, family and work descriptions, reading and writing simple personal profiles, role-play scenarios, and a final practical conversation.

By the end of this class, learners will be able to introduce themselves, describe a few personal details, use polite expressions, and participate in a short everyday Tagalog conversation with confidence appropriate for a beginning learner.
