Module v1.0 · Required
Module 1.1: The 3D Workspace and Viewport
Introduces the purpose of a 3D scene, common workspace panels, viewport controls, object selection, and beginner navigation habits.
By the end of this module, learners should be able to open a 3D scene, recognize essential workspace panels, move the camera view without moving objects, select scene objects, and reset their orientation when they feel lost in the viewport.
Why the 3D Workspace Matters
Learners are introduced to the purpose of a 3D scene and the difference between looking around a scene and editing objects inside it.
Explain what a 3D scene contains; describe why navigation comes before modeling; recognize the difference between the viewer's camera movement and object movement.
