DBP-C100 – Developing a Practical Business Plan

A 4-week hybrid course in which aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage business owners build one practical, lender-ready business plan through business leadership, marketing/HR, CPA, and banking perspectives.

Course Overview

Course Description

Developing a Practical Business Plan guides learners through the creation of one integrated small-business plan over four sequential weeks. The course includes eight instructor-led meetings of 120 minutes each, for exactly 16 instructor-led hours.

Each week is taught from a different professional perspective: business leadership, marketing/HR, CPA financial analysis, and bank lending. Learners progressively develop the same plan, revise it using instructor feedback, and complete a final lender-style presentation or funding interview.

By the end of the course, learners will have drafted core plan sections including the executive summary, business overview, mission and goals, value proposition, market and customer analysis, marketing and sales strategy, staffing plan, operations overview, startup budget, pricing and break-even analysis, 12-month projections, cash-flow forecast, funding request, risk analysis, milestones, and performance measures.
