Start speaking Tagalog with confidence through beginner pronunciation practice, respectful greetings, polite expressions, names, origins, and short introductions. This first week includes two 2-hour meetings on August 6 and August 11, 2026, plus two practical 2-hour assignments.

Build practical beginner Tagalog sentence skills using everyday vocabulary, personal pronouns, question words, and the core markers ang, ng, and sa. Learners practice identifying people and objects, asking who/what questions, and forming simple statements about wants, places, and basic information.

Practice practical Tagalog for everyday tasks: saying numbers and times, asking prices, reading simple schedules, giving and following directions, shopping, ordering food, and making polite requests in beginner-friendly service encounters.

Conclude the beginner Tagalog course by talking about family, work, interests, feelings, and everyday social situations, then integrate prior vocabulary and sentence frames in a practical final conversation activity.
